What Is OrBit-MES System?

OrBit-MES system is a Manufacturing Execution System. Developed by OrBit System Inc and own intellectual property rights. It complies with the MESA/ISA-S95 standard and is based on batch process control with enterprise modeling technology. It is system for the enterprise's internal logistics, production system and quality control department. It enabling enterprises to realize JIT pull model, Lean lean production, Six Sigma-TQM which helping enterprises build a solid foundation to move towards "Industry 4.0/Made in China 2025" . PRODUCTION CONTROL

Problem Statement: Production information is not transparent, low yield and not able to identify low yield root cause.

The MES system provides timely records of production OEE and quality data, enables product tracking, and provides traceability of human, machine, material, method, and environmental information throughout the entire life cycle of finished products. Thus increase production yield.

VISUAL TRACEABILITY

Problem Statement: Production skip processes step, difficult to control production progress, and difficult to detect production bottleneck

The MES system helps companies establish a forward and reverse full-process traceability system, including production equipment, production personnel, production batches, production start time, end time, and other process parameters throughout the production process.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT

Problem Statement: Quality control (QC) to prevent errors, exception handling, to planning and corrective action

The MES system supports real-time calculation of SPC quality data, provides quality abnormality alarms, batch number locking, equipment locking and other functions. Provides dynamic quality data monitoring, and effectively avoids batch product problems.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

PRODUCTION PLAN MANAGEMENT

Problem Statement: Resource planning, balanced production, rapid response, optimized production scheduling, reduced inventory, and reduced costs.

By connecting to the ERP system, the MES system obtains the production plan, formulates the corresponding production work order, and feeds back the production planner with production progress information. Makes corresponding adjustments according to the actual production situation.

WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT

Problem Statement: Raw Materials FIFO, inefficient in sending and receiving materials, manpower, materials, and storage areas are chaotic and wasteful, etc

The MES system provides timely statistics of in-stock information, automatic positioning of materials, and JIT-style pulling of materials, effectively avoiding material waste caused by sluggish materials and occupying warehouse storage locations, reducing warehouse preparation time, and improving production efficiency.

EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT

The MES system provides comprehensive management such as equipment ledger, equipment maintenance and production line active call for maintenance. Schedule equipment maintenance and inspection plans to keep the equipment in good condition. Analyzes performance of the equipment .

REPORT BOARD

Problem Statement: Real-time control of production and logistics information, centralized management of work instructions with real-time updates, etc.

The report board plays a decisive role in the MES system. The production information obtained by the MES system is displayed through reports, making the production status and related information transparent to make production status clearly.

SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT

Problem Statement: Supplier materials delivery tracking, raw material shortage affects production scheduling, etc..

The MES system supports visual information of materials in transit, accurately understands the timely status of suppliers, improves production scheduling accuracy, avoids production waits due to material shortages thus improve production output.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT

Problem Statement: Waste of production energy, large energy consumption load, leading to a significant increase in energy costs, etc

The MES system provides effective energy consumption monitoring, and performs abnormal warning or energy consumption prediction through data analysis, and adjusts production accordingly to achieve a balance between load and cost; it sets energy consumption indicators based on output and calculates energy consumption performance.
